Why choose a villa with a heated pool?

Turkey's Turquoise Coast enjoys long, hot summers — but in April, May and late October the sea and unheated pools can feel brisk. A heated private pool keeps the water at a comfortable 28–30°C, which means your villa holiday works beautifully outside peak season: Easter breaks, May half term and the increasingly popular October half term. You'll also pay noticeably less than in August, flights from the UK are cheaper, and the coast is blissfully quiet.

Before you book, our team confirms the exact policy for your villa directly with the owner — in Turkish, usually the same day — so there are no surprises at check-in.

Our Kalkan-based team visits every villa we list. For this collection we verify that the heating system genuinely holds 28°C+ in shoulder season — not simply that a heat pump exists on paper. If a pool can't reach a comfortable temperature in October, it doesn't make this list.
